Munchkin, original photo and pastel illustration

"I was completely overwhelmed when I saw the painting of my beloved Munchkin. Have received many compliments and expressions of disbelief that it is a pastel illustration and not a photo. Michelle has captured his personality. Would highly recommend her talent to anyone who would love a lasting love memento of their precious pet."

Judge and Jess

"Michelle Martinecz is an extremely talented artist. The portraits she drew of our beloved dogs Judge and Jess are just amazing and take pride of place in our house. They are so realistic, visitors think they are a photo at first. Now that our dogs have passed, having such beautiful pictures allows us to stay connected to them. They make us smile and think of all the wonderful times we shared."

"We love our pet portraits! Michelle has captured not only the likeness of our fur-kids but also their personalities. We love that we have these beautiful paintings of our Delilah and Felix that we can cherish forever."

"In pride of place in the centre wall of the family room sits a painting of our dog Tsuki. Beautifully done by Michelle Martinecz, the painting truly reflects our dog’s personality and the portrait is true to life. An excellent job."

Rambo and BJ

Everyone has their own reasons for wanting a memory or picture captured in a painting, mine was from the loss of a beloved animal, and given as a gift. Michelle's painting is so realistic and detailed that you feel as though your animals are with you in the room.

My two beautiful, loved dogs Rambo and BJ passed over a year ago now and my painting of them is so special that it provides healing and comfort. Whether a painting is a personal gift to yourself, family or friend every animal lover should have one.
